I have Rebuilt the Kwandrivia Roleplay World, there are new national banner and a simplified layout that is easier to use and has less subforums. I have also skipped the Civil War Idea I had and just made the new layout with that in mind.

The Laurentia Empire has now split into two nations, the Anglia Empire and the United States of Laurentia.

Yonohara

Image

While Yonohara is one nation, politically, culturally and financially it is two separate. Historically Yonohara began as one nation, but through technological advances, outside interference and civil war the nation was divided in two. Now Yonohara is separated by what the people call the Buffer Zone and within this buffer zone a joint Island was made. On this main Island is The Sunoisha Metropolis, the city where the seat of Yonohara's external foreign affairs take place and a place where citizens from either size of the buffer zone can freely go. Most citizens prefer to stay on their own island or in the Sunoisha Metropolis, this is both out of respect and honour and due to needing a special permit to cross the Hemuaeox Water Bridge from the South or take a ferry from the North. The Buffer Zone is a highly patrolled and military controlled area, crossing illegally can land a person a hefty fine and sometimes jail time.

Southern Yonohara shares technology with Sunoisha, but other than that the two couldn't be any different. Yonohara South is divided into 5 Special Economic Zones each with a city at it's heart. None of the zones work against each other, rather each zone exports and imports goods from one another essentially making the entire South Yonohara a self sufficient region. Each Economic Zone is governed by a member from one of 5 highly influential families. Each of the families are familiar with one another and each meets every year to discuss future plans and issues that need to be addressed.

North Yonohara is divided into 5 prefecture that each play a role in maintaining and supplying Nami City with resources and goods. Each region is loosely tied to an element but this has long since been done away with to differentiate the areas from the themes Yonohara South has. Yonohara North is a vastly different place than its southern counterpart. Where the south has sprawling urban cities the north has rural communities and cities made of massive pagoda-like complexes where people can live, shop and do their business. The people here live a more feudal life style and tend to stray away from luxuries like computers and technology and instead opt for books and public gatherings and temple and shrines. The entirety of Yonohara North is overseen by Lord Miles Seiler, who with an all seeing eye, makes sure with martial law, that crime or harm befalls a single citizen. Big brother is watching.

  • Nami City Temple
    Image

Occupying the better part of the Nami peninsula of the northern island is a long series of spider-webbing streets and paths. Each and every path connects and converges around one massive temple complex at the heart of a city. Around this temple complex are tall pagoda-like skyscrapers that match the equally awe inspiring temple they surround. This is Nami City, the Capital of the North Yonohara.

  • Nami Prefecture
    Image

North of the City of Nami is the Nami prefecture, this is a mostly mountainous area. Situated dead centre of the area is the 2nd largest of the 3 Holy peaks, Saikatsu. All around the mountain are small villages and cities each with an area dedicated to geothermal power and hot springs. Fishing and rare earth elements are also found here. IT is said that a dip in a Saikatsu Hotspring is enough to cure most wounds without a scar.

  • Firudo Prefecture
    Image

Rolling hills covered in lush temperate forests line the central areas of Firudo. Cities and towns line the coast, most providing exports and imports for the larger cities like Nami, and Sunoisha. This is one of the least populated areas of Yonohara and houses most of Yonohara's limited wildlife.

  • Kinzo Prefecture
    Image

Kinzo PRefecture is an average place, trees, hills, a few temples, village, but most notably are the Kinzokusan City Mines that are built directly into the far side of Saikatsu Mountain. What mined here is simply called Rare Earth Element, but it is this rare element that helps make Yonohara Steel some of Kwandrivia's finest.

The northernmost landscape of North Yonohara is simply known as the Kitoken. It is a sparsely populated area, even for Yonohara. It's largest city is Nohaiko a city build upon the peaks of large spire that overlook a dense government protected forest below.

  • Central Tower (Sunoisha Metropolis Island)
The political centre and government capital used to be the tallest in Sunoisha, that was before the race to have the tallest began. It now sits in 15th place. The entire outside of the building is lines with Hologram panels to show off advertisements and stock exchange numbers. This is where one goes to talk to each of the two leaders.

  • Sunoisha City (Sunoisha Metropolis Island)
Sunoisha City is a moderate sized city with a population of 136 million packed into an area the almost no other capital city on Kwandrivia would fit inside. All throughout the city businesses and offices can be found beaming their holograms and neon lighting almost everywhere. This gives the city a pink and blue hue that illuminates through the fog and rain the best it can. Police are constantly lurking the streets looking to catch criminals that emerge from the Undercity looking to make a quick buck from those above. The closer one gets to the cities centre the taller the towers get.

  • Omatsurisawagi Shrine (Sunoisha Metropolis Island)
Before the city exploded in size and overtook all vegetation on the island, there was once a forest in the area called Omatsu. It was within this forest that the Omatsurisawagi Shrine was built. As the years past, the city grew around the shrine, slowly eating at the forest until the shrine itself was lost to the city. It is inside this small shrine that one comes to learn of Shinsu and the ways of Manipulating Shinsu. An Oath of solitude must be taken, this means that no Shinsu user can ever teach another.

  • Undercity (Sunoisha Metropolis Island)
The Undercity is a place no one really wants to be, but some have to be thanks to the lucrative opportunities this dark and cramped place holds. What lies below the streets of Sunoisha is a crime ridden haven that only the Outlands can claim is worse. Most of the Undercity is built far below the sewers and subways of Sunoisha and is built in such a way that each section was added on and on to another making it an endless labyrinth of crime and illegal activity. Most of the businesses that illegally operate here do so with outside aid from places such as the Outlands. Money is king in there parts of you can;t survive a fight.

  • Shrine of the Shinsu (Sunoisha Metropolis Island)
The Shinsu Shrine is deep in the heart of the Sunoisha Metropolis surrounded by 400 meter tall skyscrapers that blot out all traces of sunlight. It is inside this small shrine that one comes to learn the ways of the Shinsu. A Shinsu is an art taught through history to the people of the Xys Dynasty and was eventually passed on through the years to the people of Yonohara after they fled from the mainlands. They kept their tradition alive just as they kept themselves alive, it is that very will to survive that Shinsu comes from. Enter the temple to learn more.

  • Jinzi Temple (Mt. Sakiki Island)
Mount Sakiki is the tallest of Yonohara's 3 Holy peaks. Like the other two, Mount Sakiki is a perfect cone shaped dormant volcano lined with a perfect rim of snow at it's peak and lush trees at the base. Sakiki unlike the other two is it's own island and rises almost double the height of the other 2. Because of this, no one other than monks and martial artists can live here. At the base a small city has been built where visitors to the temples can stay. The Paths of Quadrivium Aspect can be found here inside the Jinzhi Temple.
