I have Rebuilt the Kwandrivia Roleplay World, there are new national banner and a simplified layout that is easier to use and has less subforums. I have also skipped the Civil War Idea I had and just made the new layout with that in mind.

The Laurentia Empire has now split into two nations, the Anglia Empire and the United States of Laurentia.

Water and Rock

Novada is a desert and grassland state. The area was once forested, but has since been clearcut to make room for wheat, corn and other crops. The desert that was once a small and cold has since grown nearly double in size thanks to the deforestation and climate change in the area. There are 3 main regions in Novado, Stumplands is the name given to the barren land of tree stumps on the west coats of the Laurentia. It was here almost all of the Laurentia's lumber and wood came from. All that cutting and deforestation also resulted in the creation of both the Desert of Shifting Sands and the Stumplands. A seemingly average arid desert, these sands take to heart the aspect of balance and counterbalance. With arid hot days come bitter cold nights. With rain and humidity in one week comes drought and flash fires the next, with senses of danger comes senses of peace. The land itself is the embodiment of both extremes in shifting, alternating tandem. The Devoid Grasslands is a region of the Laurentia that is relatively barren and void of living things, besides grass that is. The grass however is not green, it is a light tan colour that makes it appear as sand from far off. In the wind, grass vortexes are whipped up creating quite the sight. A massive Grand Canyon also runs through this state.

Water and Rock

Thu Dec 12, 2013 3:53 am

From the Empire Territory, a figure walked into Empire's Canyon. It was Yue in her fine silks, treading carefully along the edge of the canyon's path. Upon her loose belt, a single Pokeball with her companion, the quiet, proud and cute Horsea, Levi. It was her first time out adventuring to look for more Pokemon! What brought her to Empire's Canyon exactly?

Since Yue began with water Pokemon, she naturally believed that it would probably be best to work with Levi's strengths...that being against ground and rock Pokemon! And what better place to find such types than in a canyon. Therefore, here Yue was, hoping to stumble upon on a Pokemon that Levi could take up to battle and possibly for her to catch!

Just a ways up the path where Yue was walking was a small out cropping of rocks that made a sort of open area overlooking the canyon. On the far side of this outcrop blocking her way down, was a small pile of deep blue-grey rocks that on far inspection looked no different from the blue-grey rocks that made up some of the canyon. Upon closer inspection one might find that that little pile of rocks, held more than lifeless stone. Towards the end of the path she had come from a small Rufflet was hoping about searching for what little dinner the canyon might provide.

What seemed to only be there were rocks, rocks and more rocks, but no matter...her keen eyes watched her surroundings. From afar a pile of rocks looked suspicious. Deciding to go and check, Yue touched the rocks to move them over. Perhaps she'd find something or someone underneath it?

Suddenly, one of the rocks would come to life and waddle backwards. After being startled like it was, it would attempt to tackle the poor girl.

Her mouth agape, she jumped back with surprise. The random Roggenrola gave her quite the shock, even if she thought she would find something. Quickly she threw out her Pokeball. After a bright light faded, her Horsea floated above the rocky ground where she threw it. He looked around him curiously before eyeing the other Pokemon with some focus. Her hands fumbled the whistle on her neck, but managed to catch it and blow one short blow. Levi burst out a beam of bubbles from it's tubular mouth in the direction of the wild Roggenrola in response.

The startled Roggenrolled despite having a lot of defense for protection was far too slow, thus it couln't quite evade the attack that was sent it's way. Unable to avoid this, the Super Effective attack struck with force that the little Roggenrolla had never felt before. The little Roggenrolla was weak, hurt and in danger of fainting, but it would fight on. The poor little guy would use Harden to increase it's defense before bracing for what might be it's final attack.

Immediately after his move, Yue blew the whistle long and then short note. Levi heard and a jet of water streamed against the Roggenrola one last time to finish it off (Water Gun). She had no wish to capture the Roggenrola, so she blew the whistle to indicate that Levi should finish it off himself. She would look for more Pokemon after this.

After the roggenrolla had fainted, and Yue began her trip again, all would be silent. Like before, there were a few Rufflet flapping about but not much more. Down by the water's below a group of Tirtouga were wading in the shallows, most of them were asleep but one was drifting off from the group.

Another water Pokemon was not part of her plan, so she watched the Tirouga with serenity as she walked past their wading areas. Was there anywhere else that she could go? A canyon this big had to have a cave, divet, or something of another where more Pokemon would hang around. Even if it meant getting into a fight.

In the distance there was a small cave overgrown with old rotting roots. It looked dangerous, it looked bad, and it sure wasn't inviting in the slightest. further past the cave was another group of Tirouga wading about.

To the cave it is. Yue stepped toward the cave, peering into it first before pulling herself in. It didn't seem inviting, but she might as well try to find new Pokemon. The smell of the cave was earthy and quite unpleasant, but she bared with it in the dark.

When the lone girl entered the cave with her pokemon, she would see that in the far reaches there was light and a soft warm breeze could be felt coming from depth of this cave...

She went further into the cave, climbing through till she felt a breeze. Strange, weren't caves supposed to be deep underground...or in mountains? Perhaps this was simply a tunnel? Yue went into her bottomless bag, stopping to reach into it to find a flashlight. She shone it around the cave to look around and watch her step, now that there was barely any light.

The warm air that the girl felt wasn't from a tunnel exit, but was rather from the Fire Pokemon Flamull that had made this cave their home. A small group of fire Pokemon had been peacefully sleeping until Yue woke them with her light. 5 of them in total all sprang to life and floated towards her from the rear of the cave ready to battle. 3 were male and 2 were female.

She threw her Pokeball out instinctively and Horsea, raring to go, glared menacingly at the five Pokemon. It was unknown what levels the opponents were, but at this point there was really no running from all of them. The whistle blew loudly...one long note, pause, then three short notes. the first note was done first: Levi whirred, gathering a large amount of water in his mouth before spewing it high (Brine). It would do quite a good amount of damage, since none of his opponents were hurt at first. He allowed this to spread evenly around the area to hit most of the opponents, if not all. The three short notes came after. A tornado built in front of Levi. It was not only for offense, but now defense because it gave some distance between the Pokemon and himself.
