They say Yonohara was made by a sword. They say the Order dipped a cold blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out two perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Yonohara. Legends and tales say Yonohara was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honour.

Weapons of Atse

Tue Mar 08, 2016 2:19 am

Key to the Vault of the Iron Mountain
the Key to the Vault of the Iron Mountain, is one of only 3 Keys that exist. Each are owned by one of only 3 people granted the responsibility of holding onto it. The Key, is the only known way to gain access to the Vault without destroying the mountain it is built into. Years after the Vault’s creation, the Keys were given the ability to directly connect their owner to the interior of the Vault, allowing them to pull any weapon they desire, as long as the Vault holds it. The opening the Key creates is known as a Gate, and can only been seen or accessed by the Owner of the Key.

The items that pass through the gate form glowing ripples in the air as they appear. Atse can summon items directly into her hand, pull out weapons from anywhere around herself, or prepare numerous weapons in the air, loaded like bullets.

Unique Items within the Vault
Illorum and Aurelion: Swords and Shield of Nullification
Spoiler:
Image
The Illorum is a tower shield which has a unique ability known as the Nullification Barrier. This barrier allows the Illorum to absorb all forms of physical matter as well as any type of radiation, such as light and emp’s, along with electricity, kinetic energy, magic, and virtually anything else. Whatever the Illorum absorbs is not really absorbed, but teleported to a closed space within the Aurelion Greatsword. The Aurelion Greatsword is a conduit which can transfer the stored energy to allies, but never to Atse, or to something else then Atse. Both of these weapons are linked to one another and while stored within the Vault are Atse’s main choice of weapons

Caladbolg: the Rainbow Sword
Spoiler:
Image
The Caladbolg is a sword with the appearance of a short lance, with a spiralling pattern that makes it look like a large drill. The Caladbolg is capable of unleashing a rainbow coloured energy beam that is specifically tailored to break through massive defenses, like fortresses, earthen walls and magical barriers. The beam is meant to drill and gets stronger the more the beam is used.

Durandal: The Peerless Sword
Spoiler:
Image
The Durandal is an adaptive sword with an ability that allows it to adapts to any one weapons is is pitted against. This allows it to be virtually unstoppable in one on one duels. However, it’s biggest weakness is when it is pitted against two other forces in battle. In such a situation, the Durandal always adapts to the first, and can fail against the second of the second is stronger.

Kavacha: the Unbreakable
Spoiler:
Image
The Kavacha is a mythological armour said to be worn by a Tartan and crafted by a Tartarian of the Old Kingdom. It’s single and only property is that is allows the user to temporarily become invulnerable to all damage, at the price of their life force being drained by 10% every 2 seconds it is used. The Kavacha protects against all types of damage as long as it is active. It is always used with a healer present as the toll to use such an armour is so great.

Solarmail: Armour of the Divine Light
Spoiler:
Image
Spoiler:
Image
The Solarmail is the Armour worn by the late Tartarian, Ignatius. The Armour was recovered by the Laurentian Government and quickly stored within the Vault of the Iron Mountain. The Solarmail always emits a powerful solar eclipse-like light that would blind anyone but it’s wearer. The Light it emits flows outwards in ribbon-like beams and arcs. The Light does not attack, or damage but purifies anything that comes within the area of the armour.

Dissidius Armour and it’s Novalith Cannon
Spoiler:
Image
the Dissidius Armour and Novalith Cannon are illegal weapons developed illegally by the Fairfield Foundation. The weapons are the amalgamation of Magitek, Afterburner Armour and a Prototype Laurentian Anti-Matter cannon. As such, the weapon is a suit of armour and a cannon that uses the user’s Ki/Chakra as a means of firing powerful Anti-Matter beams from it’s Novalith Cannon. The armour itself is made from Chromiumbark Fibre specially weaved using Magitek. It is light, flexible and durable enough to stop bullets. The suit of armour also physically enhances it’s wearer's speed. The Cannon requires the armour to work, but not the other way around. The Novalith Cannon’s primary role is that of a sniper. Each shot the Novalith Cannon fires consumes 1/5th of the User’s total Ki/Chakra making it extremely powerful.
