Arren's Weapons

Mon Sep 12, 2016 11:02 pm

Arren brought only one thing that can be considered a weapon, and to most Iron Aura, it is the only thing that you really need.

Arren’s Body

Glacial Goliath are never mistaken for giants based on appearance, but because of their physical might. Thought to be distant relatives of the common Giant, Goliath are actually an offshoot that relates more to Elves than Giants. They share the height, and a small amount of the spiritual intuition, of elves, but get their burly builds right from the giants. They mature at a far more rapid rate than humans and elves. A Goliath Child will be born only weeks after being conceived and can run within days of birth. Because of the weirdness of Goliath’s growth rates, it is a common misconception that they live shorter lives than humans, but this is not true. They reach maturity rapidly, until they reach just about the peak in their physical condition, and then they begin to age slowly. It’s common for them to live at least 200 years.

Arren’s skin, muscle, and bone tissues have several times the density of the same tissues found in the bodies of humans and elves, contributing to his superhuman weight and because of his tough skin, he displays clear resistance to impacts, punctures and slashes. Because he is a Goliath, he possess a level of increased strength, speed and heightened senses. Arren is capable of lifting close to twice his body weight naturally (about 800 lbs), but has the potential for massive growth in this department. Goliath’s musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human’s and so Arren can exert himself at peak capacity for longer periods of time without rest and he is able to heal from most injuries much faster than a human being ever could if undisturbed. If he does tire out, it takes anywhere from 2 days to a week for him to recharge, depending on the severity of the exhaustion.
