Undead Attack in the Order's Coutyard

Image

Surrounding the Order's headquarters is a massive decorated courtyard. This Courtyard has gardens, places to sit, a massive plaza and small patches of trees and grass. Everything in the Order is built around this Courtyard.

Alieth fell towards the ground, on her way down a deafening screech echoed out from the plant creature causing her to drop the offensive and cover he ears before damage could be done. But, sound was sound and it was too fast for her. Instead of landing with a ground shaking punch, Alieth would simply land on her feet. To her surprise, when she landed, everything was gone, it was just her, Huxley and the ruins of plants and the courtyard. After she landed and looked about she began moving towards Huxley, she still had her sword ready and her other hand ready to punch anything that tried anything fishy.

"You okay over there" Alieth called out.

The thick and very sturdy vine that Huxley was standing on had suddenly dissolved under his foot and made him temporarily lose his footing a bit, ending in a small stumble forwards. The end of his rapier scraped concrete, making an awful little screech before Huxley steadied himself quickly and repositioning the vibrating sword. Looking around carefully, he examined his surroundings, being wary of traps. After holding it out in a defensive position for several moments he sheathed the rapier in its scabbard at his waistbelt. When Alieth had come over, Huxley's hands were on his hips as he overlooked the area filled with withered plants in a bit of a bewilderment.

"I'm perfectly fine, miss. But this is strange..."

His cape dragged upon the withered plants as he bent down to examine a particularly large one. With his white gloved hand he prodded it and in response it fell again, limp and lacking any of its previous vigor it had before. He thought for a moment.

"Whatever had been giving them life must have withdrew that energy or...it's dead."

Standing up again, he flashed Alieth a confident smile.

"Which is a good thing for us, miss."

The man stretched, taking a deep and thoughtful breath of air. The area seemed so much less crowded now that the jungle of plants had gone.

After she had landed and lowered her guard, Alieth would notice that all the Misty/Black energies were pooling up, way up in the sky, in what appeared to be the top of a large barrier. She too took note of the fact that barely anything was left alive, be that plants of life. With one hand, the one not holding onto the Tatsu-ryu, Alieth would point to the sky.

"It's best not to lower our guard yet. Don't want to get surprise attacked" Alieth would say pointing up towards the sky, where the pooling of Black/Purple mist was occurring.

After that she looked back to Huxley and lowered her pointing finger. After that she would head towards Huxley.

From the centre of the Order, from where Mirg touched down decimating the city, a single point of powerful Ki Energy could be felt throughout the entire city. It was inviting, warming, and signalled the end of Ignatius and for all who survived to come to it.
