the General's Exam Part 3: To the Top!

Image

Just off the coast of Federation City is the space elevator that was first used to transport goods and supplies between Federation Colony and Federation City. Since the creation and addition of the Mass Drivers the space elevator's has declined to the point where it is no longer used. The Island has since been converted into a massive residential zone for people to live. The Space Elevator is now primarily used for people as opposed to goods.

the General's Exam Part 3: To the Top!

Tue Oct 07, 2014 1:29 am

As soon as the General reached for the ORB he would find himself teleported through some sort of portal right to the Dominion Federation's Space Elevator. As soon as he arrived, he would scan the area searching for the same signature the ORB from before had, but due to the ORB being made by Thundarius or Farron that'd probably fail. For now the General looked about the area. It was an area he designated a training zone upon weaseling his way into power, it was also the only area in the entirety of Kwandrivia with a system like the General's real hologram system, this one however operated more like a matter replicator that build towers ONLY rather than an entire RHS. the General pondered about the area, he knew he had minor control over it, if not all of it at times, but those were only in times of need, like when the Federation was under attack. the General waited...

♣About 5 minutes after tG appeared, he would be able to sense the ORB he was searching for in the area. A sudden disturbance rippled across a near by platform, as a figure appeared standing there, looking down at tG. It was Farron, in whose hand sat the ORB. It seemed that he was still watching...or at least was taking a more active roll in tG's exam now.♣

Last test...Lets see what happens when you can't access it all at once....

♣Farron lifted his hand up and the ORB shot up into the air and shattered into 5 distinct pieces. Each piece then shot off in its own separate direction away from tG, each one having disturbance ripples around it as it went. As they shot off then, the area's system was suddenly tapped into and locked tG out from manipulating it. As this happened, each fragment of the ORB suddenly morphed into 5 distinct looking robots, each having a whitish glow, though each had a different tinted color to it: Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, Purple. Each one continued to spread out until they were barely within sight of each other, waiting for tG to come.♣

Fit them back together into one...and you'll have the ORB...

♣Farron's last words broke the silence, before the Disturbance rippled out again around him, consuming him before disappearing completely, leaving tG alone again.♣

the General felt his connection with the Dominions Network fade away, as it did his connection with the Mock City's network also went with it. Thus he couldn't easily just send out the systems droids and defences, but that wasn't a problem, he preferred to be up close and personal. Immediately, the General burst off running straight for the Yellow Robot aiming to get that piece back, and then 4 more after it. As the General moved about the city, he used his HUD to track where the pieces flew off too, at the same time, he would use his RHS to call forth small orbs of light, which were left behind him as he ran through the streets.

♣As tG neared where the Yellow bot stood, he would find it standing in the middle of a large pit, interfaced with mechanical wheels and arms. Five arms protruded upwards and over the pit, while five more lay horizontally attached the wheels set into the wall. Once tG came close, the yellow glow from the bot pulsed outwards, entering into the surrounding mechanics, causing them to also glow and move. The arms over the pit rotated around with the top two wheels in the pit, rotating counter-clockwise, and unleashing pulses of the energy, which upon contact, tG would find to be electrical in nature, and very potent against other mechanical type materials/weapons/attacks, etc. The bottom two wheels spun clockwise, their attached arms turned just so that they made a tight circle around the bot, and while pulsing, created a bubble of the same energy around it, like a protective shell. The bot did nothing otherwise, simply waited and watched to see what tG would do.♣

The Yellow Robot would find that the electrical attacks would hit the General and somehow be dispersed across a field of sorts and essentially negated. This in actuality was the General's Faraday Shield, a type of shield specifically mean to deal with Lighting attacks from Falx/Kama and Gig, so against this lighting/electrical energy the shields would easily be able to deal with it. And thanks to this, the General was able to continue on. As the General approached the edge of the pit, and with his Verniers he would jump jet straight into this pit, his target, the yellow bot. As he jumped across the pit, he would use the RHS to summon small blocks of floating crystal below him, a crystal with energy absorbing properties. This way anything from below was easily dealt with, as he summoned each crystal, he would jump onto it before jump jetting to the next, this would be done until he reached the centre, he was still using his Faraday Shield to tank through what came from the sides and above.

♣Even without the electrical energies affecting tG, there were still the arms of the pit that tG would have to contend with. Should tG simply jump in, the arms at the top, spinning counter-clockwise, would blend him up like meat, being they were rotating very quickly and were reinforced. There were also the arms below, spinning clockwise around the yellow bot, that would do the same if tG should somehow get past the top arms. The bot continued to wait, pulsing within its shield-shell, watching tG all the while.♣

the Arms, well, they were about to be obliterated. For as the first ones hit the General, they would be met with explosions, explosions set off my missiles summoned at point blank range. At the same time, the General would Activate his WoL calling forth his Tachyon Accelerator. There he would Quantize leaving behind 4 Glowing Object, that themselves would begin flying around at speeds and maneuvers that made then unpredictable and hard to dodge. As these funnels zipped about, they would fire off beams of Plasma means to rip through the metal and components. Due to the fact these funnels were made of energy, batting them physically was practically useless, they were also able to phase through things as well.

the General would appear out of Quantization behind the Robot, the 4 wings he had would be aimed right for it's rear and would fire off two Bolts of AntiMatter and Two Bolts of Radion. At the same time, 16 Missiles all standard Explosive ones would be called forth and launcher directly at the shielded robot, hopefully by the time the slower Missiles got to to the robot, the AntiMatter and Radion would have done their jobs in eliminating any defences.

♣Upon the entrance of tG into the pit where the yellow bot stood, still shielded, there would be a massive explosion, as both the shield around the yellow bot and the remaining pit mechanisms suddenly self-destructed. These detonations were powerful, enough to leave a crater 2x larger than the pit itself, and possibly would harm tG himself, who jumped right in. At the same time this detonated, the bot would absorb some of the explosion, and suddenly rocket upwards at near supersonic speeds, straight into the atmosphere, the explosions no doubt powerful enough to at least slow/move/destroy some of tG's weaponry, while allowing enough time for the bot to rocket outwards/upwards at such speed, and bypass its quarry's attacks. The bot didn't leave without injury, however, it was damaged, and began to slow after the initial burst, though remaining to ascend into the higher atmosphere the more time it was given, even threatening to move into space.♣

Before he could react, explosions occurred. the General soon found himself surrounded by pressure, fire and heat. His funnels he'd released were first to go, and that they did, at the moment there was no sense wasting energy on those if he could just bring forth new ones with ease, that and the General's abilities other than the Wing's and Shields were very energy conservative. And it was also these shields that helped the General easily tank through the explosion. If only they worked so well against the flames of Kasane...

"NOT SO FAST" the General would say crouching before an instant burst of blurring speed shot him upwards accelerating him instantaneously to a the sound barrier, it was also his shields and Sanctity Treaty technology that allowed the General's body to passively counter the effects of moving at such speeds and turns, oh and the breathing in space thing.

the General continued to burst upwards with intent to ram the robot using his Variable I-Field as the means to collide, if the thing dodged, the General would just Quantize as to appear behind it in mid flight and still slam the thing real good.

♣tG would easily catch up to the yellow bot, after tanking the explosions and blasting off. The bot was definitely damaged, and tG would have no problem banging into it when he approached. As he did however, the bot would unleash a weak EMP from itself in a last ditch attempt to at least damage tG, or hinder his movement. After releasing the EMP, the bot would suddenly break down and transform into a piece of the ORB, which tG could take if he was still close enough, otherwise it would fall earthbound.♣

the General would barrel straight through it, as he did the EMP would go off, but thanks to the Faraday Shield, it was no problem, the General could thank Gig and Falx for that one. After he came crashing straight through it, he would notice a fragment of the orb appear. Upon it appearing he would grab hold of it using his WoL to keep himself from falling into the grasp of the Kwandrivia's gravity. From here his HUD would light up showing him all the objects in the area. The Federations Foundation Space Colony, Snow Queen Habitat One of Laurentia, the two Upper Rings of the Space Elevator, Kexyfreck and Ghilandus, some Asteroids, other celestial bodies and the nearby star that Kwan orbited. the General felt at easy in this environment. It was cold, lonely, empty, something he felt deep within him. But there wasn't time for embracing it. He had the other shards of the ORB to find.

thus, using data from before and the HUD he would scan the area around him for any of the remaining fragments.

♣As tG scanned about, he might notice that a large amount of heat and radiation was suddenly coming from directly below him. If he scanned close, he might also notice that the Red bot was suddenly below him as well, surrounded by a large aura of heat and fire. A few moments later, a large wave of flaming energy blasted upwards, threatening to consume tG and the area he was in if he didn't move or do something. Upon looking at the flaming energy itself, it wouldn't appear normal...in fact it was pulsing with a metaphysical aura like no other. Whatever it was...and did, tG would have to find out the hard way if he wasn't careful.♣

Once the General was fully within space, he would dispel the WoL, he figured he had enough maneuverability without them anyways in this environment. Thus, his means to go supersonic were gone, but that wasn't a worry. As the red flames and bot blasted up and towards the General, he would pulse his verniers positioning himself towards the red bot. When he did, a massive slip stream dimensional portal would form below him. From this portal, a 400 meter long ship began to emerge from it.

The Ship, emerging from the portal, would instantly begin firing it;s archaic weaponry, which by Sanctity Treaty standards was a caveman hatchet in the era of guns. But, none the less, that tech was equal to the tech of the dominion in ways. In other ways, the ship could still use Up to Sanctity Treaty standards stuff.

Image

None the less, the ship would begin firing off a slew of 288 missiles. all Anti Beam Depth Charges, missiles the size of small cars, each packed with energy negating dust made from particles that negated energy. Each missile would rocket towards the red bot, aiming to explode turning the are it was in into a Zero Zone, one free from energy, one where only things of the physical nature would exist.

After the missiles were fired and detonated, the ship would begin firing sprays of CIWS 80mm Anti Aircraft Bullets from it's many mounted anti air guns. At the same time, several dozen anti ship railguns would begin firing.

the General, safely behind his ship would be throwing out commands using his control over the ships systems.

"Aint nothing getting the better of ME, in MY territory" the General would say watching the rest of his ship finally exit the Slipstream Portal, revealing the ships 4 main guns each with 4 barrels of their own.

From the front of the ship, two massive guns would separate and blast off in each direction away from the ship.

♣As the unrelenting ammunition blasted downward towards the red bot, it suddenly jettisoned upwards, still covered with its aura. The bursts of flames that few upwards would be the first things the missiles would encounter, however, and upon contacting them, the flames would furl around each of the missiles they touched, suddenly wrapping around them, and like large hands, pulling them off course, while also burning through them quicker than expected and even the special dust inside, as though this fire used matter itself for fuel. It seemed that the flames also had telekinetic ability, for as the bot rose, its aura would continue to divert the missiles away before consuming them. In this way, the red bot shot upwards still towards tG, getting closer and closer, though still rather slowly, having to deal with each missile that came.

That wasn't the only happening however. In a flash as the red bot flew upwards, a sudden loud bang would be heard from above, as the blue bot hit the top of tG's ship, surrounded by a large blue aura. This bot, as soon as it landed, started its work, punching its fists into the ship and pouring its aura into it. As it did, whatever was touched soon began to freeze solid, a wave of this freezing spreading outwards in a slower wave across the ship from the point the blue bot hit. Eventually, if unattended, the ship itself would begin to loose power as its technology was eventually frozen.♣

After the General's ship exited the SlipStream upon which it came, the General would have the ship, repeat that backwards. the Missiles were all absorbed, the gunfire too, but could the little red bot do the same when a 3 Million Ton warship was being rocketed at it. The ship, regardless of the Blue Bot atop it or not would rocket towards the red one, engines flaring up, as it did so. A SlipStream would open behind the red bot signalling the ship was about to Slip into the SlipStream. And thus it was going to, unless something tried to stop a warship...

the General whom was behind the ship already would begin to pulse his Verniers giving himself some backwards momentum, allowing himself to drift backwards as not to succumb to the Planet's Gravity.
