to the Moon and Back: Part 2

Before the Terra-fomation of Ghilandus, what little life that resided on the moon was massive. The creatures that lived were anywhere from 50-75 meters tall and were capable of tearing through the moon's rocky surface with ease. After the Terra-formation of Ghilandus these creatures have began to adapt and have for the most part began to calm. The creatures of Ghilandus moon make the Neverending Jungles the perfect home. The jungles are filled with wildlife that provide the massive creatures with plenty of food.

to the Moon and Back: Part 2

Sat Jan 30, 2016 9:14 pm

As the two beamed onto the worlds surface, they would feels that gravity was 1/5th what it was on Kwandrivia. The air pressure, and density was the same. How ever, it was really, really hot, nearly 42 Celsius, and extremely humid. The Entire area they were in was a massive thick, unexplored jungle, with trees that were almost a kilometre tall. If one noticed closely, or observed any wildlife, they would notice that the wildlife was oddly gigantic. Most mammals that lived here, were the size of small cars, but others could reach the size of small homes. Most insects were the size od medium dogs. Everything here was just larger than life. Including what they were searching for that was on it;s way to attack a Dominion Walled City.

*Tucker prepped by making two shallow cuts on each of his arms where blood flowed out rapidly and took shape forming black crystallized armor, in one hand a large shield and the other a sword and at his waist two glocks with extended mags with hoses attached to his skin via red tubes. All of the objects shaped had kept their red color looking like crystallized blood.*

"Ready."

*In truth when al the shaping was done it was with his white ooze but made perfectly to look like hew as shaping his blood even down to the genetics sensed.*

the General appeared on the ground. He watched Tucker call forth his Armour, Guns and tubes, and noted that down. the General would then hold his hand out, calling forth Banriu out of thin air. After this, he would look around scanning the area for anything. At the same time his ship was quickly constructing a map of the entire area analyzing everything from DNA, to soil, to air, to life down to the very atom and energy. the General was aware of the heat and humidity, his least favourite weather type. Luckily, his RHS kept his body cooled and healthy.

"I guess we just explore until we find something" the General would say.

"Do you suggest splitting up, or staying together?" he would then ask.

"That all depends how certain you are in your own skills?"

*Tucker scanned the surroundings.*

"If we stick together we stand a better chance but at the same time we dont survey as much area as the two of us split up. However even though we scan more area split up we stand at a disadvantage power and number wise."

"I am 113% confident in my own abilities, my shields have never failed me" the General would say.

"I have also made some basic maps I can Materialize if we split up, but I leave that up to you." the General would say displaying a realistic map above his right palm.

the Map was very lifelike, as if you could touch it and feel the trees and stuff themselves.

"As you can see, the vegetation and most life forms here are gigantic, several times that of Kwandrivia. It's safe to say whatever we have to stop is huge as well. I wish they told us what we have to fight, and not just where to be to fight it." the General would say zooming out on the map to show all of what the Faith of Heart had scanned.

"It's hard to detect, at the moment. But Might I know the Kwandrivia rank you hold?" the General would ask.

"Sure, i'm rank 2nd"

*Tucker spoke before speaking his decision.*

"What about we split up but we stay within a certain range of eachother so we don't have to go that far to regroup? Say a 300 ft distance and scan the area in one direction?"

"I can do that, if any occurs do something loud and I will Quantize to your location" the General would say.

After that he began to move away, using his Vernier to help him move about the thick roots and foliage.

*Tucker began scanning forward as well but a distance from General using his sword to cleave through what he could that was in his way. whatever was in his way that wasn't able to cleave through he simply climbed over.*

♠As the two of them continue on through the dense forests, they would encounter nothing for several hundred feet, not even wildlife. Then, as they continued, they would begin to run into large amounts of sticky white silk, long bunches of it hanging across the trees, some woven in large circles across branches and such. If they continued yet further, they would start to see things moving in the shadows and higher up among the foliage of the trees, the webs getting thicker and thicker the farther they went. At a certain distance, spiders the size of a St. Bernard would begin leaping at them from the shadows, webs or high up from the branches, two or three at a time. Each attempted to stab their victims with stingers or bite them with venous fangs or shoot sticky exploding balls of webs at them, which would explode into a large net. The spiders would continue to do this they further they went, as though they had suddenly entered a den of them.♠

the General did his searching and as he did he took note of the white silk, which registered as some sort of spider's web. Moving even further into the web filled area, his HUD would begin to tell him of all movements above. His Range Finder would then zoom in on one and his HUD would scan it. Going even further, the General would encounter a massive spider, instantly sending shivers down his spine. When they jumped, the General would use the RHS to send a flamethrower blast of fire at it. His first instinct was to kill it away. If there was anything he was afraid of as much as death, it was spiders.

*As tucker encountered the webs on the first sight he didn't have to examine it any further to know they were webs and realize what he would encounter.*

"Time for a preemptive strike."

* Before even entering too deep into the spiders den and making sure General was still to his left out of the direction of the strike he shaped his "blood" which was really just his ooze shaped to look like blood into two massive miniguns filled with 50 cal bullets. With a hand on each of the specially designed handles he triggered the kickback legs and mowed down the area ahead with rapid fire 50 calibur bullet blasts. the recoil legs dug into the ground would do their job and minimize the kickback to sustainable levels for each arm. after a long 30 second hosing of bullets if tucker was not struck by a spider and uninterrupted he would have two large piles of bullet casings to his left and right with the overpowering smell of gunpowder in the air. If interrupted by a spider attacking him he would ditch the miniguns leaping out of the way and with his control over the miniguns detonate them causing an explosion that would send shrapnel in all directions, if any shrapnel came into contact with tucker or General with his control over the shrapnel they would simply curve mid air around them or just splat as blood. Following that he swiftly redrew his sword and shield with his glocks he shaped now mounted on these red fleshy hands ready to shoot acting as sentries mounted to his shoulders.*

"General are you alright? I think going further we should stick together since we are entering a spiders nest"

*Tucker spoke through a minor power signature of a telepathic power.*

♠As tG hit the spiders with fire, the first would be burnt badly and scuttle back into the cover of the trees, while the other spiders kept their distance, though if tG focused, he might be able to tell they were following him in droves, staying just out of the reach of sight and out of the reach of his fire blasts. They would continue chasing him wherever he went, looking for the chance to pounce in numbers, an opening at which point tG wasn't looking.

Tucker would have an easier time, as his bullets seemed to kills the spiders outright...or at least when they were shot through the head. If shot in the spinneret or leg, they would stumble back into the cover of the trees about them. By the time Tucker would have shot all of the spiders, a sudden trembling could be felt through the trees and forest floor. Soon a spider the size of a semi truck appeared through the trees and pounced upon Tucker, attempting to smash him into the ground before cutting him apart with its massive pinchers. Gobs of webs shot this way and that too, creating walls of the sticky silk across the trees, quickly blocking routes of escape...or entrance of help.♠

the General watched as the Spiders back away after he tried to roast one alive out of fear. His HUD sensory also took note of the other spiders surrounding him and added those to the Minimap his HUD was displaying. At the same time he watched the spider retreat gunfire was displayed moving away from Tucker and towards more enemies on the HUD's minimap. Instantly, the HUD began to blink as a powerful life/energy signature was detected coming in. Around this time, his HUD would also ping him that Tucker had mentally sent a message and would allow it through the Mind Jammer.

"Coming now" the General would say as he Quantized from his location, to the location Tucker was at, but about 12 meters above him, but away from the path the HUD detected the lifeform was taking. As he materialized in location, 20 Explosive Missiles would appear with him, each rocketing towards the strong energy/life form his HUD detected, each aimed to explode within it's proximity, or the proximity of anything it shot out. Each Missile was also calibrated so it would only injure the spider, and not Tucker or any foliage. This was done by using the RHS to absorb and cancel any explosion that didn't harm the spider itself.

As the General did this, he pulled Banriu back and began to fall towards the ground using the lighter gravity to it's advantage.

*Because no spiders pounced on him as he fired he still withstanded the miniguns at his side. Once he saw the giant spider pounce for him he kicked off his minguns so the spider would pounce ontop of the miniguns and made sure to avoid any webs behind him through subtle tlekenetic shoves on himself. To his surprise general quantizised right above him in the blast radius and he sent a red blood whip to attach to General yanking him back as the miniguns detonated an inch from the spider causing massive damage not only from the shrapnel but from the shockwave too causing sonic damage to everything including the mind. To protect General and tucker from the damage shrapnel was curved around them or splat on them rather than shred as it just became blood. He even made sure to yank them far enough so sonic wave damage did nothing to them.*

*Following this Tucker held his sword in one hand with his shield in the other, his two glocks held at his shoulders by shaped mechanics as sentry guns. There at a distance he held ready to see if the spider survived the blast.*

((Sorry guys, its been a long week...well, couple of weeks lolz.))

♠The spider was quickly thrown upwards then blown downward by the various explosions, before landing with a sickening crunch that left the spider twitching in agony. A moment later, the spider would fall still. A few moments later, after silence and stillness had fallen, the spider's carapace broke open and a spider slightly smaller than the one before them broke free, shooting into the air. At the same time, the wall of webs all around would implode towards the center where the spider lay, attempting to sweep the two of them into the center and trap them into a large sphere of sticky webs. If touched, they would not be easily removed, even by metaphysical or forceful means. Meanwhile, from above, the slightly smaller gigantic spider would start launching corrosive/poisonous blasts from its mouth down towards the two in a machine gun like fashion, the venom not affecting the webs themselves, but soaking through towards whatever was inside. Outside of the parameter of the webs, the area would be crawling with the smaller yet large spiders, creating a massive army around the area, watching the fight, ready to invade...yet standing still for the moment.♠
