I have Rebuilt the Kwandrivia Roleplay World, there are new national banner and a simplified layout that is easier to use and has less subforums. I have also skipped the Civil War Idea I had and just made the new layout with that in mind.

The Laurentia Empire has now split into two nations, the Anglia Empire and the United States of Laurentia.

Minister Gerard Consont's Escort to Death City

The Twilight Clan controls this area of the Coliginosity. This part of the Coliginosity is mainly farmland that was generally left untouched by the Dark Masque, thankfully the Twili that control the area keep and maintain the area from further degradation.

Minister Gerard Consont's Escort to Death City

Wed Jan 15, 2014 6:24 pm

Gerard waited at his small farmhouse in the Forgotten Farms, he was one of the only people who lived there, he was also a minister in a dark college within Death City, he was also hated by some higher ups at Port Fortune. For now, Gerard was waiting for his escorts to protect him from the assassins.

ΩIt was Hezekiah and I who showed up first to the farmhouse, trotting towards Gerard together as we came within sight of him. I was suited up for battle, my staff/Relic Aequohex in hand and my sword Perseverance sitting in my belt resting on my hip. Both of us arrived by pokemon teleportation, although at a distance, and into a discrete area, scouted beforehand in case any potential enemies decided to be scouting us out beforehand. We made sure to tuck the pokemon away before and keep on a close lookout as we approached the farmhouse, neither of us picking anything up...although that didn't mean we weren't being watched already. Once we came within earshot of Gerard, we slowed and stopped, keeping a little bit of space between us and him, just in case. I gave Gerard a pleasant smile, and a small nod once we arrived, before speaking.Ω

"Good morning, Minister...we're part of the protection squad sent to protect you....You may call me Kezia."

ΩI finished, introducing myself, and then stopped, allowing Hezekiah to do so in turn also.Ω

"And I'm Hezekiah..."

♫I finished my sister's sentence with my own introduction, also smiling and nodding at Gerard. I, like Kezia, came well prepared. My own katana, Vigilance, was also ready on my hip, and my own Relic, a long jade rosary, held in my left hand, seemingly calm, but actually quiet ready for some action. As soon as we were within sight of the Minister, I began to size the guy up, wondering how badly someone would want to kill him. From the looks of it, he probably had quite a few enemies, with more than enough of them with deep pockets, large enough to fund a pretty nasty set of assassins. Still, I was confident in our abilities, especially together. Plus, I figured whomever else was coming was high enough rank to help out quite a bit as well. Still, I wasn't too sure of putting too much trust in this Minister guy either...he seemed pretty sketchy to me, enough to not want him at my back when I was defending him. I just had to make sure to put an extra wall up between him and myself. I quickly and telekinetically conferred my concerns with Kezia as we waited for our third member.♫

It wasn't a long time before they heard a voice trailing as if falling. It was coming from...right above them? The red haired Tatsui was...skydiving! Without a parachute of all things? If Kezia and Hezekiah could hear Zanpakutou speech, they would be able to hear mad ramblings coming from the sky ("FUUUCK DAMMIT AHHHHHHH WHYAREWEDOINGTHIS, BIAN!!"). The woman gave a shout of glee, but she was certain far too close to the ground now. The impact would definitely kill her instantly...that is if neither of the three noticed the small sprout in the exact area where she would land. Several feet from the ground now, the sprout grow tremendously, bursting into what looked like a lilypad. It caught her within its shell, her weight leaning it downwards on its thick stem. It was perhaps now they could see clearly what she looked like: she wore fitted clothing, the curves of her hips and waist showed nicely; her long locks were tied in a high ponytail and drifted like a red banner in the air. It was difficult to think this woman popped two children out of her at one point. The crimson haired woman leaned on the edge of the lilypad to get off and touch her feet to the ground, grinning and panting in excitement.

"That was awesome!!"

"You almost killed us, bian!!!!"

"Oh, but I didn't! See! I'm not as rusty as you though I'd be!"

"Yeah and I wonder what would've happened if you were...!"

She gave him a mental expression that said "You worry way too much" and turned to her partners and contractor. Her lips gave a dazzling, fun smile and Tatsui gave a little wave to Gerard. He did look a little stern, but she figured that he must be considering he was probably being hunted by someone right now.

" 'Lo! You must my contractor! Nice to meet ya, I'm Tatsui. Tatsu is fine too, I personally think it rolls off the tongue better."

"And don't forget me!! It's Kaza!"

Though she wanted to tell him that Gerard couldn't hear him, her attention turned to the twins instead and remembered, they were rather a quiet bunch. But it wasn't as if she was shy to be the talkative one. In fact, in most situations, she found it to be a good thing. People seem to like when others initiate conversation. And Tatsui didn't mind being the initiator.

"Hey you two! It's been a long time! Hezekiah and Kezia, no?

The 3 would go to introduce themselves to Gerard. Gerard didn't even bother to spit out a hello or a greeting of any sort, instead he just spoke with a rather impatient and snappy tone.

"Let's go, I don't have all day, the longer we wait, the more time we waste" He would say, rudely.

After that, he turned from the 3 and slowly, began to walk.

ΩUpon feeling Hezekiah's telepathic touch, I leaned in with my own mind, conferring with him mentally. I agreed with his reasoning and made an agreement with him not to get too close. It was I who first noticed the final member of our team approaching, only because of the loud mental screams emanating from the Zanpakuto, which I was telepathically alerted to . I looked skyward and watched as Tatsui made her grand entrance. Honestly, I wasn't really all that impressed, at least at this point. Most likely this was due to my being in a foul mood, at my father, still. After leaving the office, Hezekiah insisted that we take a mission, because it would help get my mind off things. So far, it wasn't working...although maybe that was because Tatsui reminded me of Medius....who reminded me of what happened....grrrr...I tried not to let me sour mood show, and after Tatsui introduced herself, I spoke to her aloud, and then mentally, although both rather curtly.Ω

"Hello, Tatsui..."

"Tatsui, both Hezekiah and I agree that it would be best to keep our distance from the Minister as best possible...We may be assigned to protect him, but we don't believe he's all that trustworthy...Just be careful...and we'll keep the mental communication open between us at all times...."

ΩAfter addressing Tatsui aloud, I would turn and follow after the Minister, making sure to keep my guard up as well, by scanning the area telepathically, as well as creating a few mental butterflies, very small in size, which floated around the general area ready to be used. I waved the other too on after me, to make sure they were following.Ω

♫After I saw Kezia turn and look towards the sky, I turned also and followed her gaze. Much to my surprise, I witnessed the amazing entrance of Tatsui. My reaction, compared to my sister's, was completely different.♫

"OMG, THAT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!!"

♫I whooped, jumped up and down a few times while clapping excitedly as Tatsui drew near. I was impressed to say the least. After my sister said her own two cents, and finished her mental message, which I was also cued in on as well, I spoke.♫

"Hi, Tatsui-san! Glad to see you back!! That was so cool! How did you do that?? And, anyways, where have you been? We've been wondering when you'd arrive...You must have seen Medius by now too...?"

♫I rapidly fired off questions like a excited 5 year old on a sugar high....sort of.... It was strange for me to act like this really...I was normally very quiet, even more than my sister, usually. I didn't even really realize that Tatsui and the Minister were already moving ahead, and only after Tatsui would realize would I do so as well and start off after them. However, I would still stick close to Tatsui, waiting to hear what she had to say. Guess I sorta forgot about the mission for the moment, ooooh well, whats the worse that could happen..?♫

She watched the serious pair walk off and blinked surprised green eyes at Hezekiah, who seemed to be the only one who had a light hearted attitude. She shrugged and followed him, her smile not wavering very much. She gave a mental note to Kezia first though to not ignore her.

"Yeah, he's a little shady. Thanks for the warning though."

On Hezekiah's side, there were a lot of questions. She walked close behind the other two with him, answering as she went.

"Hezekiah! Hehe, yeah that was so fun! I actually was dropped off by another beast master who went flying with his air elemental...man it was cool!"

She looked up to the sky dreamily, grinning as she recalled the rush of the air as they soared through the sky. They didn't really sit on anything...rather they were, but because the air elemental was rather transparent, it was as if they were soaking through the air without a set of wings. She could probably do that with her own Chemistry study, but she imagined it would take a lot out of her Navitas...and more than likely she would run out mid-air (which would seriously suck by the way). Her finger pointed to the ground a bit far off and as they were passing it, it burst into a shrub spontaneously.

"I landed using Biology and Astronomy studies! Plants can soak in the energy as you fall and using gravity helps to slow your impact."

She giggled a little as the shrug rocked a bit back and forth as if from a silly cartoon.

"Yes, I saw him when I first came, but not since. I know he's quite busy right now...I haven't even seen Alexis. Don't worry though, I'll have time!"

From where the group was, there was a single home, a home that wasn't forgotten, there was some MagiTek there used for farming and some other odds and ends. There was no vehicle of sorts, unless one counted a broken tractor. It didn't bother the Minister much, and he didn't worry if it bothered the group or not.

"At least one of you knows what is important" The Minister would say.

Up ahead there was a road, one used often as there was tracks and marking and tire treads. There was even people walking down it, who on occasion would possibly greet the two. It was a place that was in the open, and safe, probably not the kind of place someone would just attack a Minister.

"If we continue down this road, there will be two options. We could continue down it taking us directly to Perimeter Park or we could head by boat across Union Lake. Either is fine by me, as long as I make it back in one piece and alive" he would say.

ΩI turned and scowled my brother as I continued to follow the Minister closely. Until Tatsui showed up, he was completely focused on the mission...now he was nothing but distracted. I sighed, as I turned and faced ahead again, hoping that nothing was going to jump out at them any time soon. Meanwhile, several of my mental butterflies flew ahead and scanned out the area...the house, along the road...even secretly following a few passersby along the way, just in case they turned out to be assassins. I slowed my pace with the Minister as we drew near the road, carefully weighing the options. Perimeter Park or Union Lake....Humm...I carefully weighed out the possibility of attacks on either path, as well as what I knew about my brother's and my abilities, and what limited amount I knew about Tatsui's.... It seemed to me that Perimeter Park would be an easier avenue of attack, although on a boat out on Union Lake would be a very bad situation if we were up against a water manipulator. Turned my head towards the other two behind us, wondering what they would think.Ω

"I personally think that Union Lake would be better...but we should all confer and come to an agreement between us...."

ΩI said, raising my voice just a little bit louder at the last part, hoping the other two were listening. In case they weren't, I sent them a quick mental synopsis of the options we had, and then waited for their reply.Ω

"Ohhh, THAT SOOO COOL!!!"

♫I continued to gab with Tatsui as we continued on after the Minister and my sister, thought a few paces behind them naturally as we were enjoying ourselves. I continued to smile, although I caught my sister's glare in my direction, and my expression dropped a little. It seemed my attitude wasn't improving her sour mood...which I felt a little sheepish towards. I had originally come on this mission to help get her spirits up again. Seems I wasn't doing a very good job. I looked back towards Tatsui, speaking again, hands drawn into my pockets.♫

"Oh, I haven't seen Alexis around either for a while...I think she went on a mission with our Uncle...And Medius just got sent on another big mission...Seems Dad wanted him to help track and capture Revil's evil-twin....thing...."

♫I broke off after suddenly feeling Kezia's mental message, clearly I wasn't paying attention, and I almost walked into my sister because the pair of them had slowed down so much.♫

"OUUF-Aaahhhh, Ummmmmm...well, Idk...The Lake sounds good, I guess...But the Park might be good too....What do you think, Tatsui..?"

♫I said, turning my head towards Tatsui innocently, coming indecisive point, unsure of which path would be better. I had never been a good strategist, something I usually left up to my sister.♫

The sour moods of the two in front of us didn't seem to bother Tatsui too much, though she worried it seemed that she was too nonchalant. In fact, it was the opposite...she was quite vigilant at the moment and the vines blossoming along the road as they walked weren't just for show...they were prepared barriers in case something were to happen. She was close enough to defend if something were the happen to the minister...in fact, being in a 5 yard radius was enough time for her to shoot a few magic spells.

As Kezia turned to them, she responded,

"Sure, the Lake it is! I trust your instincts, Kezia."

Tatsui gave a smile to her, hoping they would get along better than they seemed to at the moment...early strife on a mission was no good!

The Minister said nothing and just walked, in his eyes, time was short, very short, if someone was trying to kill him he wanted to get there without dying.

"Let'ssss goooooo" He would say hoping they would at least catch up.

ΩI gave Tatsui a smile, before turning back towards the Minister, and following close beside him, not looking behind her again until they got to the lake. She was glad that there was no disagreement on the path to take, which actually lightened my mood quite a bit. I continued to monitor the area using mental butterflies as we went, not speaking, but noting the Minister's impatience. I wondered what sort of business he had in Death City that was so important...and worth killing over.Ω

♫I smiled too, once seeing Kezia's smile, glad that she had finally let loose a little. I turned to look at Tatsui, glad that things were starting to work out more. I walked along a little behind the Minister and Kezia, with Tatsui, taking in all the sights and sounds around us. I began to wonder when the assassins would strike as well...I knew that Kezia and I gelled nicely together as a team, but I wondered how we'd do with Tatsui here too...I assumed that, due to her rank, she would be a great help...and her powers seemed really cool too! However, I wasn't too sure about the lake situation...Sure I could lay down platforms across it easily enough...but still. I remained silent, pondering this as we went, probably a big change from before.♫
