They say Yonohara was made by a sword. They say the Order dipped a cold blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out two perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Yonohara. Legends and tales say Yonohara was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honour.

This Place Is Still Home...

The homes that make up the residential ares of Port Fortune are known as the Shambles.

This Place Is Still Home...

Wed Jan 15, 2014 1:07 am

*Native to this criminal ridden port, Emilia, or rather Hirako, walked along its filthy streets. Drunken bums spouting nonsense and curses, children pickpocketing and sizing up a potential prey, thugs lurking in the dark and smelly alleyways. Truly a place of disgust, yet she called it home at one point. She still does. Garbed in all black clothing, black cloak draped over her body and wearing a rather intimidating white mask, featureless save for the fact her cautious red orbs scanned the area around her. Stopping just shy of her house, Hirako looked upon the dilapidated shelter, now abandoned every since she turned 20 years of age.*

"No one bothered to take you in nor keep you maintained..."

*She thought to herself, taking in all of the brutal experiences her upbringing at this house brought upon. Who would though? A caved-in roof couldn't protect one from the bandits, let alone the elements. The house was obviously ransacked, however, Hirako already knew that there wouldn't be much for any person to steal and make a use out of. Her parents were rather "neat" when moving. Turning her back upon her original housing, Emilia looked upon Port Fortune. Grubby, lawless, filled with greed and evil. This was the norm for her and she didn't look down upon it, she merely stated how it looked and the feeling from it made all the nostalgia come back. Only thing to top it off would be a couple of idiots thinking they can take her on...

peering at the young one from a house just down the darkened street was a group of kids, they looked to be about 15 year of age, but with all the dirt and stuff around here it was hard to tell. These kids, formed themselves a small gang, they didn't have a home, they didn't have family anymore, they didn't eat this day either. But, if they robbed this lone person, they just might. One of the teens, a younger looking skinny one, made her way towards Hirako with her hands out.

"Change for the poor" she asked putting a fake caught or two in.

*Hirako caught a glimpse of the young child making their way towards her. Covered in dirt, "coughing," and begging for change. This youngling must have thought Hirako a newcomer to these parts. Something of which she wasn't. The young woman new all the tricks in the book, but this attempt couldn't even stir the cold heart within Hirako's body. Crossing her arms, Hira merely closed her eyes and shook her head, a sign that she had nothing to give. No words needed to be said, just actions.*

The teen would turn her back, and when that happened, Kirako would be able to clearly see a glowing glyph there, suddenly and without much warning, the girl would explode into flames attempting to incinerate Hirako. the group would all turn towards Hirako, two of them, looking oddly similar to the first, would run towards Hirako.

"Your goods are mine" She would yell.

*Hirako noticed the glyph and thought of it so typical for this sorta thing to happen, however, she wasn't prepared for the glyph to explode as fast as it did. The girl must have been real talented in order to have pulled something like that off. Nonetheless, this would take a bit off effort just to avoid being burned alive. An instance in which Hirako's shadow erupted on her command, created a large shadowy hand, halting the attack from harming her. A violent burst of wind kicked up for a bit and once they calmed with the dust settling, Hirako saw that she was being charged by more oddly looking girls.*

...

*She took this situation quite seriously and expanded her shadow to quickly close the distance between it, and her assailants. After doing so, she'd command her shadow to shoot forth six shadow pikes. However, seeing as this was just a pathetic attempt to mug something off of her, Hirako decided to let these children off easy. The pikes would be able to pick them off with relative ease and at a safe distance, just to make sure no glyphs were still around. The pikes aimed to impale them through their shoulders and leave them hanging in the air, so Emilia could get a good look at them.*

As soon as each of the two were impaled, they would also explode damaging, the shadows which tried to hold them up. The girl afar with the two who were left would send those remaining two forward to act as a shield to try and stop the spikes that were aiming at her. She herself would be on the ground quickly trying to draw another glyph.

*Hirako was granted plenty of breathing room thanks to the pikes used to keep the exploding children at bay. What looked like the same exact person led the assassin to believe that this young girl was capable of using clones and had a few other spells under her belt. Seems like she was very serious in taking her goods. Too bad she picked a fight with the wrong person.

Hirako on the fly, expanded her shadow to about a good 80 feet. This ensured her spikes would go even further and striking right through the other clones being used to protect the girl. However, those wouldn't be enough to save her skin for she was within the range of Hirako's shadow. Hirako then flicked bother her index and middle fingers on her right hand. This caused a sudden and powerful fist to punch out of the shadow and aim to cream the girl exactly in her abdominal area, with an impressive show of force and speed. Should she get hit, her little glyph making would be halted and she'd more than likely be sent flying and out of the game for a while. Oh well, too late to take back those actions now.*

It was an easy grab, and Hirako was dead on with her strike, the little girl casting the spells and making the glyphs would be sent flying upwards, unconscious. It was up to Hirako as to what to do with her body.

*Once the girl was on the floor and rendered unconscious, all the young woman could do was just sigh and shake her head. Walking over to the knocked out girl, Emilia picked her up, cradled her, then brought her to the abode she used to live in. Opening the door, she brought the little urchin into the a safe little room that would tuck her away from any prying eyes. Leaving a small and unconscious girl out on the floor in the middle of this place was a death sentence all on its own. After putting her in a small cot, Hirako placed a blanket over the girl and left her with some small amount of coins and some spare food.*

"Pick your battles next time."

*Was all she said, turning her back on the young girl. Of course she wouldn't drop her guard and was prepared to have to silence her should she persists. Nonetheless, she made her way out the house, closed the door, then decided that this place remained the same. Was it truly possible for it to have grown worse? Hirako didn't want to find out, really. However, it was unsettling that a child was actually able to have such skill like that. Magic is such a new concept to the assassin that she really wasn't prepared for small fry muggers like that girl to be sporting such firepower at her age. Whatever the case, the assassin's blood was boiling. She wanted to fight again and again until her bloodlust was satisfied. No one here could give her that proper challenge nor the satisfaction of relieving her deadly lust.*

"Perhaps THAT place can give me what I want...?"

*She said, thinking of the Colosseum in the Order. That city was bound to be hustling and bustling with talent from all over. Should it disappoint, she'll be glad to show the price for having such weakness in a place of strength.*
