As winter approaches Kwandrivia, a spine chilling wind covers the lands as a dark force is felt...

Halcyon Kingdom's Territory

Image

The Halcyon Kingdom is a green and natural paradise who's lands are both untouched by man, and left to grow as nature intended. The Halcyan people dedicate their lives to pursuing spiritual enlightenment and unity with nature instead of conflict and war like their neighbors to the west. Where one would find cities in other factions, one would instead find towering trees teeming with animals, fairies and other mystical creatures. Throughout the lands of Kwandrivia, it is known by all that in the Halcyon Kingdom the High Elves rule. They are the ones who preserve the natural ways and thus frown upon the humans who wish to exploit their pure land. The elves live with the land instead of on it, they eat natural fruits, they live in treehouses or houses built onto the edges of cliffs. Because of their protection of nature all of the Halcyon Kingdom is natural forests and freshwaters lakes. The Halcyon Kingdom has always been this way, it has followed these codes and rules ever since it became it's own Kingdom.

  • Yuki Colony
To the far north, where the Theoden Trunks meets the Arctic Ocean there is an usually deep hole in the depths of the water. Deep down, within this hole are the Yuki Colony of Mermaid, a Mermaid School of Mermaid that thrive off the cold waters and ice in the area.

  • Uldreiyn Hills
the Uldreiyn Hills is an area of land east of Zenthel City, that has tall hills that are too low to be considered mountains, but too tall to be part of the Halcyon Shield. But it's not just that that makes this area unique. The entire area that makes up the Hills, is devoid of trees. In the place of the trees are golden flowers that flow across the hills making it appear as though this area is a massive desert.

  • Theoden Trunks
Due north of Zenthel City, are the Theoden Trunks. Like most of the Halcyon Kingdom, the trees here grow free and wild. But unlike the rest of the Halcyon Kingdom, these trees are exclusively Theoden Pine. The entire area is almost always cold, all year around. The temperature almost never rises above 10 Celsius.

  • Pinegrove Estates
The Eastern Most tip of the Halcyon Kingdom's territory is home to a large human population. The populous is mainly location in Pinegrove City, but is also in smaller communities all throughout the Pinegrove Estates. The reason humans were allowed to settle here is primarily for trade with the Dominion Federation. However, the land they can use is limited and the rules within the land are those of a visiting human in the Halcyon Kingdom.

  • Feeding Fields
South of the Pinegrove Estates is a plot of land where Human and High Elven work together to grow Organic, non GMO crops and wildlife. This is then sold to the Dominion Federation who then exports the goods to other countries. It is a heavily regulation and watched place.

Winding for thousands of kilometers through the Halcyon Shield is the mighty roaring Halcyon River. It's water is fresh and clean and was once fought over as a resource by the Laurentia Empire.

  • Halcyon Shield
The Halcyon Shield is a vast expanse of bedrock, forest, and freshwater lakes that covers nearly 3/4's of the entire Kingdom of Halcyon. This massive area contains the most natural resources in all of Kwandrivia. It is thanks to the Halcyon''s strict nature preservation rules that this land has remained untouched for so many years.

  • Village of Hidden Xyz
The Xyz people forbid outsides to enter. Attempting to enter can result in death or prolonged captivity.

The Village of Hidden Xyz is the home to the last of the Xyz's 9 Clans. Each clan is affiliated with a single element, and each element represents the clan. After the Laurentia Empire conquered the original Xyz Dynasty, the Xyz were thought o have been wiped out. It was until recently that the Xyz let thier psychic barrier down and made themselves public to the Legion of Kwandrivia Nations. Every 4 years the Xyz hold a clan tournament to determine who will become the next Dynasy of the Xyz people. The Xyz culture is very Oriental, their architecture, region and ways represent that. Their Village is among the strongest, but their honour forbids them from waging war. Because of thier small population and thier unique power, each Xyz gain's tremendous power, the average one can reach 6th rank, while the higher skilled and trained reach 3rd rank. The Xyz forbid outsides from entering as they feear and know that only people possessing their Clan's power can mate and produce power imbued offspring.

  • Ciyradyl Fields
Deep within the Halcyon Forests there lies an area that was specifically cultivated and nature to have the best soil in the world. And because of this work and the High Elves care for nature, the woods gave them just that. Because of this, the High Elves call this place the Hallowed Marsh, and within it they grow super-sized fruit and vegetables.

  • Birchbark City
Birchbark City is the capitol and home of the Wood Elves, here they reside in peace and have a strong alliance with the High Elves, they are calm and open minded folk who would do ANYTHING to keep the woods safe and clear. Birchbark is named after the dense Birchwood forest the city is built in. Unlike the High Elves Zen City, Birchwood is built entirely on land. This allows the Wood Elves to be as close to nature as possible.

Lake Triumph is one of the 3 Ashelia Great Lakes. It was named after Laurentia's great victory over the Halcyon Kingdom. A victory that lasted a very short time before the Kingdom took the lake back.

  • Frostarch Bay
Frostarch Bay is unique. It is unique because it is the only place on Kwandrivia where TrueIce can be found. This type of ice holds a property that allows it to not melt when in warm temperatures. It is protected by both the High Elves and the Yuki School of Mermaid.
