As winter approaches Kwandrivia, a spine chilling wind covers the lands as a dark force is felt...

Laurentia Empire Territory

Image

the Laurentia Empire’s lands to the north are ruined and destroyed by unchecked and ungoverned companies, individuals and construction. Because of this, most of the trees, mountains, lands and other areas were literally stripped of resources and life. The lands here reflect this nature. from deserts, to stumplands, from abandoned oil fields to the outskirts of the city where endless treeless grasslands can be found. This is Laurentia North.

  • Red Mountain Badlands
the Red Mountain Badlands is a massive area of mountain-like bandlands that are made of a type of dry terrain. This area is characterized by steep slopes, minimal vegetation, lack of a substantial resources, and little to no rain. Canyons, ravines, gullies, mesas and other such geological forms are common in Red Mountain Badlands. This area if not for the many highways and town would be extremely difficult to navigate.

  • Volcanus, the Living Red Mountain
Red Mountain is a massive 9,881 meter tall twin peaked mountain that rises into the sky towering over the surrounding badlands. What is unique about this Mountain is that it lives and breathes. Despite being a living breathing mountain, Volcanus is still mostly stone and dirt. What isnt dirt is the mountain's pumping magma liks blood system that allows the mountain to live. Life as a mountain is simple, it walks across the badlands, never stopping, always keeping it's land's just that, bad. While not hostile to anything, Volcanus is still defensive about itself, and will enter a full on rage if someone or something dares attack it. All throughout Volcanus are hundreds of caves that house monsters and pokemon a like. But don't go too deep, for deeper and deeper you go, the more dangerous it becomes.

  • Stumplands
Stumplands is the name given to the barren land of tree stumps on the west coats of the Laurentia Empire. It was here almost all of the New Laurentia Empire’s lumber and wood came from. All that cutting and deforestation also resulted in the creation of both the Desert of Shifting Sands and the Stumplands.

  • Empire's Canyon
Running along the south west corner of the New Laurentia Empire is a wide and massive canal. This canal used to be a canyon but was filled with water to make way for the canal.

  • Devoid Grasslands
The Devoid Grasslands is a region of the New Laurentia Empire that is relatively barren and void of living things, besides grass that is. The grass however is not green, it is a light tan colour that makes it appear as sand from far off. In the wind, grass vortexes are whipped up creating quite the sight.

  • Bosery City Slums
Bosery City was the location of the Laurentia Empire's first successful Nuclear Reactor. However, this reactor was flawed, it's major flaw was that it was not protected by a concrete shell. This meant that in the event of a meltdown, the radiation from the meltdown would be contained inside the concrete. Both money and haste were to blame. The lack of proper inspections and no concrete barrier would ultimately spell disaster for the Bosery City Reactor. 50 years ago the reactor went critical, no one but the rich and famous were warned, leaving anyone without warning behind. The entire city and the area around it were lost to the fallout, the city and the millions who remained either died, or became sick. 50 years later, present day, the city remains, but it is nothing but a decaying slum, home to anyone who doesn't have one within the Laurentia Empire. The Laurentia Military eventually built a wall around the city, keeping the slums and it's people in, and the crime and decay that followed out. Now there is all but one rule. You may enter the city, but never leave.

  • Forever Spires
Rising far above the Triumph Rangers are needle like spires of solid granite. These spires are the result of a first rank battle in which one of the warriors ended up transmuting a portion of the mountain range resulting in their creation. These spires make the perfect battleground for those who have the ability of flight.

  • Triumph Ranges
When the Halcyon Kingdom tried to mount an all out assault of the New Laurentia Empire by travelling north to south, the soldiers of the Halcyon Kingdom were met with waves of gunfire. The New Laurentia Empire celebrated it’s victory by gathering all of the fallen Halcyon Kingdom soldiers weapons and scattering them all about the peaks of each mountain throughout the range. Millions of unique and rare items can be found here. Many are protected 24/7 and are generally given out through a quest obtained from the Order. Subforum:

  • Pathway of the Fallen
A single dirt road weaves through this marshy landscape. On either side is a thick swamp, littered with tombstones listing the names of those who have died in battle while serving the New Laurentia Empire. The road winds to become a length far longer than necessary, as a tribute to those beneath the ground, and as a steadfast reminder to those who walk here.

  • Ruins of the Zabnjarsi Empire
Lining the Empire Canyon are hundreds of ancient pyramids and ruins, among the largest of these clusters are the ruins of the Zabnjarsi Empire. These ruins are highly preserved and highly guarded, not by the Laurentia Empire, but by those who continue to live and fight for their lost empire. Most of the empire has been lost to the sands, a sand that is unforgiving and easy to get lost in. Subforum:

  • Desert of Shifting Balance
A seemingly average arid desert, these sands take to heart the aspect of balance and counterbalance. With arid hot days come bitter cold nights. With rain and humidity in one week comes drought and flash fires the next, with senses of danger comes senses of peace. The land itself is the embodiment of both extremes in shifting, alternating tandem.

  • Great Laurentia Forest
Thanks to the efforts of the High Elves and the lack of people living in the north of the Laurentia Empire, most of the northern sections of the Empire are forested. The Great Laurentia Forest is mostly untouched by the Laurentian's.

  • Marian Mines
What was once the largest mine in Kwandrivia is now a 200 kilometer deep cave system that is home to millions of wildlife. The deeper a traveler goes inside the Marian Mines the more dangers they will find. It is said there are dangers that people can not imagine in the deepest depths of the Marian Mines. It's been hundreds of years since light or human eyes have seen the bottom or the Marian Mines. When the Marian Mines were constructed there was only a small path connecting the mines to the Laurentia Empire. But as the Marian Mines quickly grew, the pass quickly grew and eventually a mining town formed in the wide open area outside of the mine's entrance. Eventually the mine ran dry and when it ran dry the town ran dry and it's people left. All the Marian Mine Pass is used for now is a training ground for warriors.

  • New Florgia
New Florgia is the replacement for Florgia. Florgia was an old fort town used to protect the entrance to the Destreds Sea from the west. It was inevitably destroyed in war resulting in the construction of New Florgia. New Florgia is a fishing town now, and a really successful one at that.

  • Los Feratus City
Los Feratus is a self governing city on the far reaches of the Los Feratus Peninsula. Other than a overly dangerous road that leads from the Acadia District and runs along a 300 meter dropoff the only other way to reach the city is by using the newly constructed Super Empire Connecting Bridge. Historically, Los Feratus was a prison city, but the was eventually disbanded. Now it's just a ghostly place where the more dangerous of Laurentian's wind up.

Menphis is a seaside city where redneck meets the wild. If not for the ECSB, this town would have never grown from the old hillbilly city it was to the into the hillbilly city it still is.
